I just want to start off by saying thank you to each and everyone who took the time out of their day to take part in the journey that is Exit's Exist.
This show is the last of a trilogy and brings the first chapter of my exploration into expression through art, to a close. Very fitting of sorts, that the show where I questioned closure, would bring me that very thing. Two long years, 3 shows later (Lover's Isle, The Devil's Playground & Exits Exist.) and I can honestly say that I have never understood myself and have been more comfortable in my own skin than I am today.
Along the way, many experiences were had, and brought about many casualties, including myself in ways, unintentionally, but were all necessary evils in the war to find and understand myself.
There are too many people to name but I want to say thank you to all of my family and friends who helped me through my depression, addiction, episodes, etc. It was an astounding effort on your part and there are no words to express my appreciation, gratitude and gratefulness for you pushing me to keep my life, for staying in it and for helping me see it through. In result, there has been an infinite amount of soul searching, self reflection, shedding and growth on all levels, 24/7.
And I just want to say to anyone who is reading this right now, you are not alone. No one truly knows what the fuck this life thing is and how to navigate it "correctly", but that's ok. All that truly matters is what you think, feel and know about who you truly are. And even if you are totally unsure, take a step back and evaluate, who's vantage point you are uncertain from, yours or the rest of the world? Take time to work on you, constantly and be ok knowing that it is a lifetime process. Nest in that, find those fruits, nurture them and continue to plant new seeds in your mind, body and soul, in many different arenas, to evolve. Love yourself unapologetically, so that anyone who is lucky enough to experience you for however long of a time, will see a standard set by you so finite, that if in fact you deem them worthy, they compliment your light and help shine on your garden of life.
